Palanga Disc Golf Course Map

Disc Golf Rules in Brief:
MOST IMPORTANT – PARK SAFETY.
Do not throw if there are people ahead and there is even the slightest risk of hitting them!
Players who violate safety rules are personally responsible for any damage caused!
During play, all group members must stand behind the thrower.
Object of the game – to throw the disc into the basket in the fewest throws possible, starting from the tee pad,
with subsequent throws played from where the disc came to rest.
- Usually played in groups of 3 to 5 people (most commonly 4). However, you can also play alone.
- For the first hole, all players throw from the marked tee in a designated order (after throwing, wait until all group members complete their first throws before moving toward your disc!).
- The next throw is taken by the player whose disc is farthest from the basket. Throws are made from the spot where the previous throw landed. For safety reasons, waiting players must always stand further from the basket than the thrower.
- Keep score. Once all players in the group have completed the basket, record each player's score – the number of throws (scores are recorded separately for each basket).
- Teeing off on the next basket starts with the player who had the lowest number of throws on the previous hole. If players tied, the throwing order remains unchanged.
- Out of Bounds (OB). If out of bounds areas are marked in the park and a player throws into OB (the disc comes to rest OB), a one-penalty stroke is added, and the next throw is taken from where the disc last crossed the OB line.
- Final score – total number of throws. The player with the lowest score wins.
- Each basket has an established "target" number of throws for an advanced player (PAR). Naturally, the goal is to score lower than the indicated PAR.
