WHY DISC GOLF? Started to play Ultimate frisbee at very young age and after a vacation in Finland in 2008 started to actively play disc golf.

WHY DISC GOLF? Once started – you can‘t stop. Best sport for me – nature, family, friends, trips, and ... magic of disc flight!

ADVICE: Play one shot at the time. Thinking of 5 shots ahead or 10 shots backwards can‘t make you score better. And don‘t blame yourself for mistakes (you‘ll make some anyway). Better say something possitive about each shot right after it - even if you hit the first tree! And yes – make your game plan for the course and stick to it!

GOALS FOR SEASON 2024: Further grow the sport in Lithuania and beyond. In competitions – to be competitive to the best players in each tournament.

Disc golf is an excellent sport that not only allows you to make friends, meet, and chat with acquaintances but also get outdoors, be determined to improve, enhance concentration, imagination, and patience. Disc golf provides a lot of positivity to pursue goals, not give up, optimistically correct mistakes, and strive not to repeat them.

ADVICE: Believe in yourself, don't be afraid to make mistakes, reflect well, and come to terms with the fact that everything depends on you.

ADVICE: Learn to control your emotions. Familiarize yourself with your disc before using it in competition. Learn to support your group members, it will remove some of the stress during competition.

WHY DISC GOLF? At the beginning disc golf was more like a fun activity for leisure time with friends. But already at the first year of play desire to improve my game has started growing, and that made me constantly practice. That's what I have been doing for past 10 years! Disc golf community in Lithuania is growing every year, more and more new players come in. That also means growing competition. If you want to stay competitive, you need to improve physically and mentally. And that's what drives me :)

ADVICE: I recently realised that any participant in competition is simply a participant, an acquaintance, a friend. He is not my enemy or competitor. My biggest competitor is myself. So my advice for every player is to focus to yourself, improve your skills, learn from your own mistakes and try to beat best version of yourself! That's the only way to reach the "ceiling" in an individual sport... And later you can break through it :)

GOALS FOR SEASON 2024: I've got few goals: My biggest focus in year 2024 will be Lithuanian Disc Golf Championships. And also to participate in maximal number of Innova Baltic Tour and Lithuanian disc golf cup competitions.

WHY DISC GOLF? During first quarantine, I found discgolf. When you try it for few times, you can‘t stop playing. Discgolf, differs from other sports - it is individual sport, everything depends on you. Discgolf isn‘t only physical sport, but also psychologic sport.

ADVICE: The best advice for new players would be to throw putters and midranges only. Also, new players should learn how to throw correctly.

GOALS FOR SEASON 2024: To be competetive rival in all stages, not to be left out of top 3 and to improve my form and putting percent.

WHY DISC GOLF? Disc golf gives you so much freedom. Both physical and decisional. You are in charge and you decide to take risks or to play smart and safe. It shows what kind of person you really are, because your qualities will come out, especially when you're having one of THOSE days. Also, it is the best sport for you if you want to spend time in nature with your friends and loved ones.

ADVICE: Set reasonable and reachable goals for yourself. Also, put in the time and train separate parts of your game, do not play rounds only. That way you‘ll see some results way faster.

GOALS FOR SEASON 2024: I want to be more level-headed, more consistent and try to play some beautiful disc golf that I'd be able to enjoy. Disc golf should always be about beautiful form, respect and etiquette and I try to be the example of that.

WHY DISC GOLF? I think, that discgolf improves your tactical awareness, it improves your concentration and psychological pressure. It‘s a wonderful sport, no matter that you are young, old, male or female – everyone on the course are equal.

ADVICE: Don‘t forget to breathe, enjoy your game, forget your mistakes, because the only thing you can change – your upcoming shot. For new players – don‘t rush throwing high speed discs and improve your putter and midrange game.
